Books I’ve Almost Started

I have a slight addiction. A few days ago, I moved my bookshelf (and its contents) into our new apartment, and realized that the vast majority of them have been unopened. It’s not that I’m not excited to read them. It’s just that I’ve been busy reading other things! Some of the books I’ve been putting off are:

  • Les Miserables
  • The Art of War
  • In the Garden of Beasts
  • The Qur’an
  • Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
  • The Ninja Handbook
  • The Autobiography of Malcolm X
  • New Directions for Testing and Measurement
  • The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe
  • The Fur Hat
  • The Soviet Socialist Republic
  • Dancing in the Street

These are just the first that come to my head. There is a plethora of others, whose names I can’t remember, that I bought or traded at used bookstores. Addiction? …maybe. But at least I only buy the cheap ones. And at least I’m addicted to something that’s good for me, right?

What books have you not gotten around to yet?
